This pretty cottage is on a rural property of 3,500m2. A place to relax in nature and get away from it all with friends or family.
The property is in Ribera del Gaidovar, a beautiful valley in the Sierra de Grazalema nature reserve.
The house was once an important mill that flourished in the 19th century thanks to a thriving flour industry.
The property is now refurbished and has been split in two houses. It is possible to rent both for 20 guests maximum.
Guests at La Tajea cottage will feel in total harmony with nature. The house boasts a fantastic rustic porch with views of the swimming pool and leisure area.
The interior of the house is furnished mainly with wood. There is a cosy living room with a fireplace and pellet stove; 3 bedrooms, including two family rooms, each with a mezzanine with a double bed; 2 bathrooms; and a fully-equipped kitchen to keep your stay simple and enjoyable. La Tajea sleeps 10 people.
The communal areas consist of a swimming pool, 2 barbecue areas and a garden with fruit trees (cherry, loquat, apple, fig, persimmon, plum, peach and quince trees). We welcome you to enjoy the fruit and help us take care of the trees.
The Gaidovar river flows at the foot of the property, providing a refreshing spot for a dip during the hotter summer months. There are many pretty paths nearby for enjoying nature.
It is possible to park on the premises.
The village of Grazalema is 6km away; a well-known village among lovers of the Sierra and nature, with many opportunities for hiking and discovering the unique landscape and diverse flora and fauna, such as Griffon Vultures, Spanish Ibex, deer, the Grazalema Poppy, a rich variety of orchids, and of course, the famous Pinsapo (Spanish Fir).
